SUNDAY, APRIL 23, 2017 - 5K In My Shoes raises over $20,000!
Thanks to many generous sponsors, donors, volunteers and participants who together raised over $20,000 to enhance the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabililtes in Weld County.
July 11, 2017 - Envision accepts award as a Weld County Breastfeeding-Friendly Worksite
Northern Colorado Breastfeeding Coalition awarded Envision as a Breastfeeding-Friendly Worksite! Mike Schwan from Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment presented the award to Envision's Management Team.
May 31, 2017 - Executive Director, Mary Lu Walton will retire!
After 22 years of service to Envision and 43 years of working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Mary Lu Walton will retire for the second time in her life. Mary Lu said "YOU have been my daily inspiration and the reason I’ve done what I have at Envision."

June 1, 2017 - Introducing Celeste Ewert as Envision's New Executive Director
On May 11, 2017, Envision's Board of Directors announced to Envision staff their selection of Celeste Ewert as the organization's new Executive Director.
Celeste stated in her acceptance, "I would like to thank the Board of Directors of Envision; I am humbled to be offered the opportunity to lead and work with the amazing group of employees within our organization. I am looking forward to collaborating with Management Team and all staff members to overcome challenges and make changes we will be facing in the next few years. We have creative, competent and capable employees who demonstrate every day their commitment to uphold the mission of Envision. Together, I know we can continue to provide the best support possible to people, and empower them to live, love, work and play their way."

HB17-1280: Concerning conforming Colorado statutory language related to disability trusts to the federal '21st Century Cures Act'.
HB17-1353: Concerning implementing medicaid initiatives that create higher value in the medicaid program leading to better health outcomes for medicaid clients, and, in connection therewith, continuing the implementation of the accountable care collaborative and authorizing performance-based provider payments
June 16, 2017 - City of Greeley "Art Benches" Formal Dedication
Envision has collaborated with City of Greeley regarding the development of Aven's Village, a universally accessible playground where kids of all abilities can play together. Envision artists' work are sand blasted on three benches at the part. Join us in celebrating their work!

Bring your lunch, we bring dessert!
Our monthly Lunch & Learn's focus on a variety of topics related to being a Person Centered Organization and using Person Centered Thinking skills, tools and practices to better support people.
All are welcome to attend. Best for individuals that support other people (i.e. caregivers, case workers, coordinators, providers, etc.) with some knowledge of or have received the basic training in Person Centered Thinking.
